Quad Expert — mobile app privacy notice

This notice describes how data is processed in the Quad Expert mobile app. The app publisher and Velim platform provider is SKVID d.o.o., Jalševečka cesta 40, 10040 Zagreb, Croatia. Data protection contact: zastitapodataka@skvid.hr.

Communications about vehicles, equipment, sales and servicing are handled by Quad Expert d.o.o. under its privacy policy. Requests addressed to Quad Expert can be sent to info@quadexpert.hr.

Data we process

• Information you enter during registration and in your profile: name, phone number, address, city, postal code and email address if you provide one.
• Messages and content you choose to send: photos, videos, audio recordings, documents and customer support requests.
• User, installation and device identifiers, push tokens, app and operating system versions, and technical information needed for sign-in, security and app operation, including session information and technical server communication logs.
• In the business area, which is restricted to authorised staff, data and activities associated with their workspace and assigned permissions.

Why the data is needed

We use data to register and verify accounts, deliver messages and selected notifications, handle enquiries, display account-related content, provide support, prevent misuse and maintain app reliability. The applicable basis depends on the purpose: providing a requested service, a legal obligation, legitimate interests in system security, or your consent where required.

The app does not use data to track users across apps and websites for targeted advertising. We do not sell personal data.

Recipients and service providers

Messages and attachments are available to the recipients you send them to and authorised staff in the relevant workspace. Technical service providers process information needed to operate the platform and deliver notifications, including Expo/EAS, Google Firebase Cloud Messaging and Apple Push Notification service. Access is restricted according to role and processing purpose. Data may be disclosed to a competent authority where required by law.

Device permissions

The camera, microphone and photo or file selection are used when you start the relevant feature. You can decline or later change permissions in your device settings. You can turn off push notifications. If you enable biometric authentication, it uses operating system protections; the app does not receive your biometric template.

Retention and deletion

We keep data for as long as it is needed for the stated purposes. After a mobile account deletion request is confirmed, final removal of data, attachments and their backups is managed by the retention system within 60 days, except where a legal retention obligation or another applicable legal exception requires particular data to be retained.

Request deletion in the app through Settings → User account → Delete account (Croatian: Postavke → Korisnički račun → Obriši račun) or email zastitapodataka@skvid.hr. Include Quad Expert and your registered phone number with country code. Do not send your password or SMS code.

Your rights and external links

Subject to applicable conditions, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of data, object to processing and withdraw consent. You can complain to the competent supervisory authority; in Croatia this is the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP). Send requests to the data protection contact above.

Links in the app open external sites with their own privacy policies. The app is intended for users of Quad Expert services and authorised staff; it is not specifically directed at children.
